Reseña: La banda fue formada por Jesper Strömblad, Johann Larsson y Glenn Ljungström en 1990, en Gotemburgo (Suecia).
En 1995 editan el album"The Jester Race" con Anders Fridén como vocalista y bajo la discografía Nuclear Blast. Este album les abre las puertas, y la banda empieza a ser reconocida por toda Europa. Desde entonces la banda va evolucionando su estilo y con el tiempo consigue mayor reconociemiento, hasta hoy en día que mantienen su propio estilo y son considerados íconos del Death Metal Melódico.
